Katie Nilsen Takes Charge as President of PWC New York Board
Katie Nilsen has been appointed as the new President of the Board of Directors for Professional Women in Construction New York (PWC NY) for the year 2026. This announcement was made on November 12, 2025, and marks a significant step in her career as she takes on a leadership role aimed at promoting and supporting women and diverse professionals in the architecture, engineering, construction (AEC), and real estate sectors.
In her new position, Nilsen, who serves as the Vice President of Development & Strategy at E-J Electric Installation Co., will guide the organization in its mission to enhance opportunities for women in these traditionally male-dominated industries. Her focus will be on advancing equity and fostering connections among professionals within the sector.
