Authorities from the Redwood City Police Department confirmed that 35-year-old Eliaser Hernandez-Valadez was apprehended after he returned to the scene of the fire later that same day. Investigators quickly determined that the fire may not have been accidental, prompting an immediate investigation into the incident.
