UPDATE: In a thrilling comeback, Jalen Duren scored 31 points in his return from injury, leading the Detroit Pistons to a stunning 127-112 victory over the struggling Indiana Pacers on November 17, 2025. This marks the Pistons’ 10th consecutive win, their longest streak since the 2007-08 season, despite missing key players.

The Pistons have been resilient, playing without Cade Cunningham (hip), Tobias Harris (ankle), and Ausar Thompson (ankle). Meanwhile, the Pacers are now in dire straits, suffering their 8th straight loss and falling to a dismal 1-13 this season.

Duren’s explosive return was complemented by Daniss Jenkins, who added 26 points. Ten Pistons players scored, with Javonte Green providing a strong bench presence with 20 points. The Pacers, led by Pascal Siakam with 29 points, struggled to keep pace, particularly on the road, where they remain winless at 0-8.

Detroit seized control early, taking the lead for good in the first quarter after Duncan Robinson connected on a crucial three-pointer. The Pistons unleashed a dominating 20-4 run at the start of the second quarter, expanding their lead to as much as 21 points before halftime.

Although the Pacers fought back, outscoring Detroit 56-55 in the second half, their efforts fell short. The Pistons closed out the game with a strong defensive effort, securing their status as the first team in the Eastern Conference to reach 12 wins this season.

The immediate future looks challenging for the Pacers as they prepare to face the Atlanta Hawks on Tuesday. The Pistons, riding high on their winning streak, will host the Charlotte Hornets on Wednesday, aiming to extend their impressive run.
