Pokémon Go Unveils ‘Winter Holiday Part 2’ Event: What to Expect
The popular mobile game Pokémon Go is set to launch its “Winter Holiday Part 2” event from December 24 to 29, 2025. This festive occasion introduces the coal Pokémon, Rolycoly, as well as offers players various rewards and enhanced gameplay features.
During this special holiday event, players will have the opportunity to encounter “event-themed” Pokémon, which may reward items such as Fast TMs, Charged TMs, Silver Pinap Berries, Golden Razz Berries, and Rare Candy when caught. Notably, the costumed Pokémon Stantler and Dedenne will have an increased chance of appearing as shiny variants.
As part of the ongoing festivities, the Go Pass: Winter Holiday 2025 remains active. Players can still progress through ranks while benefiting from bonuses that include doubled XP for sending gifts and additional items from those gifts. Additionally, participants will receive 50% more XP from raid battles. For those opting for the premium version of the pass, the rewards expand to include doubled Stardust from gifts, halved egg hatch distances, and increased XP from catching Pokémon.
