Scientists Uncover Over 16,000 Dinosaur Tracks in Bolivia
A groundbreaking discovery has emerged from Carreras Pampa in Torotoro National Park, Bolivia, where scientists have identified the largest dinosaur track site ever recorded. This remarkable finding features more than 16,000 individual tracks, all dating back approximately 70 million years to the late Cretaceous Period.
The site showcases tracks primarily made by theropods, which are bipedal dinosaurs known for their three-toed footprints. Alongside these, researchers also found tracks that appear to have been made by ancient birds, providing a unique glimpse into the diverse ecosystem of that era.
