All you need for admission is a clean, single-use plastic bag or bottle, supporting the annual Texas Recycles Day celebration on November 15, 2023. The event runs from November 14 to 16, with gates open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily.

The weekend is packed with exciting activities! On Friday, November 14, guests can enjoy a series of film screenings inside the auditorium. Scheduled showings include:

9 a.m.: Texas State Parks Centennial (9 min)
10:30 a.m.: Batsies (15 min)
12 p.m.: Second Chance: Bears (22 min)

– Ranching with Ocelots (12 min)

On Saturday, November 15, don’t miss the FREE plant swap, happening from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the Greene Room. A special 14-minute short film titled The Birdwatchers will be screened at 10:30 a.m., followed by an enlightening walking tour at 11 a.m. that explores the healing power of plants.

Finally, Sunday, November 16, is dedicated to wellness with a vinyasa yoga session on the Garden South Lawn at 10:00 a.m.. Space is limited for this relaxing experience, so participants are encouraged to reserve a spot online or arrive early to walk up for same-day entry.
