Woman Heroically Defends Car from Stranger at WeHo Gas Station

The incident occurred earlier today as Star and her husband, Mike Carter, were preparing to head to a comedy show featuring Deon Cole. Star noticed the stranger lurking nearby just moments before he made a stunning move, hopping into their Alfa Romeo as Mike was momentarily restrained by his seatbelt.

In an intense video, Star can be seen springing into action, forcefully pulling the man from the vehicle and sending him tumbling to the ground. “I had to remove him from my vehicle,” Star recounted. “When I got him out of the car, I kind of like, threw my hands up, and I went into a motherly instinct, and I told him, ‘Don’t you ever do nothin’ stupid like this no more.’ And he just kind of walked away like, ‘Is she crazy?'”

The couple shared their experience exclusively with Eyewitness News, emphasizing the importance of vigilance on the road. Star described the moments leading up to the confrontation, noting that she initially asked the man if he was okay, but received no response. “I figured by the time Mike got back to the car and shushed him away, he would leave,” she said.

Star sensed the man was under the influence of substances, which heightened her concern. “It’s an eye-opener for me because I have two daughters that drive and that’s out on the road,” she remarked. “You just have to be aware, not just my kids, but everybody, women.”

Mike praised his wife’s swift action, stating, “I looked over the back, and she did what she did. I said, ‘Ok, I know my wife is strong, but wow, she’s strong.’ Because the guy was on the ground.”
