Morning to Afternoon Activities
The day kicks off with the Little Fairy Tales Storytime from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at the Forge Event Center, located at 815 14th St. SW. This interactive session includes whimsical stories, enchanting adventures, songs, and crafts designed for young children.
Later, the Chilson Senior Center, found at 700 E. Fourth St., invites the community to participate in chess games from 1:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. This drop-in event encourages social interaction and strategy sharing among chess enthusiasts. The center also offers drop-in table tennis during the same hours, catering to those who prefer a more active pastime.
For those looking to improve their dancing skills, line dance lessons will be held at The Boot Grill from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Beginners and intermediate dancers are welcome to join this free session at 4164 Clydesdale Parkway.
Evening Entertainment and Community Support
In the evening, participants can enjoy a free poker night at The 120 Bar and Grill from 6:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. Located at 120 N. Lincoln Ave., this event promises an entertaining way to engage with the community.
Those seeking assistance with technology can drop by the Loveland Public Library between 11:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. for the AmeriCorps Digital Navigators Drop-In Session. This program offers one-on-one tutoring sessions for individuals struggling with computer or mobile device skills, no appointment necessary.
For art lovers, the Día de Muertos celebration is ongoing at the Gardens on Spring Creek in Fort Collins, featuring ofrendas and an interactive Monarch Wall from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. This event highlights the cultural significance of the Mexican holiday.
In addition, the Colorado State University Symposium 2025 will host a keynote address at 3:00 p.m. at the Lory Student Center Ballroom in Fort Collins. Carol Spahn, former director of the Peace Corps, will discuss “Human Connection and Purposeful Leadership for Positive Change.” This talk is open to all and will also be livestreamed.
As the day wraps up, the Loveland community is invited to participate in more activities, including Waggin’ Tales, where children can practice reading with a licensed therapy dog at the library from 4:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
