Grieving Partner of Michelle Montgomery Speaks After Tragic Death
The tragic death of Michelle Montgomery, a 39-year-old mother of four, has left her community in shock. Montgomery was discovered dismembered in a garbage bag at the Boriquén Public Houses in Brooklyn on Sunday, with the medical examiner still investigating the cause of death.
Her life partner, Anthony Echevarria, expressed profound disbelief and sorrow over the loss. “She left this house vibrant, happy and alive,” he said. Just before her death, Montgomery shared a video on TikTok at midnight. By 9:30 a.m. the following day, her life had been cut short in a gruesome manner that has left her family and friends devastated.
Echevarria described the heart-wrenching experience of witnessing their 10-month-old son searching for his mother. “It’s been hard because you’ve been looking for it has been, been one of the hardest things to really look at is watching him look for her and knowing that she’s not coming back,” Echevarria shared. Montgomery’s sudden disappearance has raised numerous questions, especially considering she was last seen leaving home around 9:30 p.m. on Saturday night.
Family members revealed that Montgomery was enjoying her evening at a local restaurant before her tragic fate. They noted that she had no connections to the Boriquén houses, where her remains were tragically found. A memorial has been established at the site, complete with her photograph and candles, as a tribute to her life.
Echevarria reflected on the extremity of the situation, stating, “So extreme. Like I don’t even know how she ended up over there in a building, nevertheless in a garbage bag. Mad extreme.” Montgomery was not only a devoted mother but also a vibrant individual who worked hard to ensure her children never wanted for anything, as Echevarria emphasized her role as a “super mom.”
Active on social media, Montgomery had recently posted a poignant message about cherishing loved ones, stating, “Spend time with the people you love before it’s too late.” Just weeks prior, she shared her thoughts on life and relationships, writing, “If I die tomorrow, my Facebook wall would be filled with posts about broken friendships. Please don’t use my death for some sympathy. If you love me, love me now.”
The police have launched an investigation into Montgomery’s death, which has left a significant impact on her family and the local community. As the search for answers continues, Echevarria and other loved ones are left to grapple with the loss of a remarkable woman whose life was tragically cut short.
