Born Tricia Taw on September 13, 1946, in Los Angeles, she was the middle child of Richard and Mary Taw. Tricia’s upbringing in Inglewood and Culver City was marked by memorable summers spent with her extended family in Ely, Nevada, which shaped her close-knit family values.

Her professional journey began at Los Angeles International Airport (LAX), where she worked as a ticket agent for American Airlines. This role not only honed her ability to read people and solve problems but also helped her develop a sharp sense of humor that endeared her to many. Tricia later transitioned into television production, contributing to a variety of projects, including movies-of-the-week and live shows like Circus of the Stars.

Tricia’s passion for the creative arts extended to music and literature; she was often found with multiple books in hand. In 1984, she married John Marcello after meeting him through mutual friends. Together, they built a life in Manhattan Beach, where they raised their daughter, Molly.
