**Tragic Paterson Fire Claims 5 Lives, Including 3 Children**

BREAKING: A devastating house fire in Paterson, New Jersey, has claimed the lives of five individuals, including three children, on Halloween night. Firefighters responded to the emergency at 9:56 p.m. on Friday, encountering a fierce blaze that quickly spread through the small wood-frame residential structure located at 15 Emerson Ave.

Fire Chief Alex Alicea reported that strong winds fueled the rapid escalation of the fire, which engulfed the second level of the one-and-a-half-story home. Tragically, the victims, comprising two adults and three children, were found inside. The relationships among the deceased have not been disclosed as authorities continue their investigation into the cause of the fire.

As a result of the fire, a total of 11 people have been displaced. The Red Cross is actively providing assistance, with their disaster volunteers helping affected families secure temporary lodging, food, clothing, and other immediate necessities. “We expect to provide emergency assistance to an additional four people who requested that we meet with them later today,” the Red Cross stated.
