Paramount+ Joins Forces with Arsenal in Landmark Partnership
Paramount+ has officially partnered with English soccer club Arsenal in what has been described as a “landmark” deal. This collaboration aims to merge the worlds of sports and entertainment, celebrating popular series from the streaming service, including Landman, starring Billy Bob Thornton and Demi Moore, and MobLand, featuring Tom Hardy and Helen Mirren.
The partnership will see a variety of initiatives where Arsenal players, legends, and supporters engage with the streaming platform. Paramount+ branding will be prominently displayed in-stadium during both men’s and women’s match days, including visibility on large screens, within matchday programs, and through various stadium experiences.
Excitement Surrounds New Collaboration
To mark the launch, Arsenal legend Thierry Henry narrates a co-branded video titled “For the Love of the Team,” which showcases the spirit of the partnership. Marco Nobili, executive vice president and international general manager of Paramount+, expressed enthusiasm for the union, stating, “We’re beyond excited to unite Paramount+ and Arsenal — two global iconic brands with supporters that live and breathe passion.”
Nobili highlighted that the partnership aims to create experiences that not only celebrate teamwork but also elevate the game itself. “This partnership brings the drama, comedy, and unforgettable moments of both worlds to life — on the pitch and beyond,” he added.
Arsenal’s chief commercial officer, Juliet Slot, echoed this sentiment, stating, “We’re delighted to welcome Paramount+ into our Arsenal family. They’re a world-class, global entertainment brand, and we’re so excited to work together and create new ways for our supporters to feel even closer to the club.” She emphasized that the collaboration would enhance the club’s ability to deliver outstanding experiences for its supporters.
Future Campaigns and Content Initiatives
Looking ahead, future campaigns will align with significant launches on Paramount+ throughout the 2025-2026 season. The first initiative, set to coincide with the return of Landman this November, will feature first team players engaging with lifelong Arsenal supporter and social media influencer Sharky. The campaign will also include appearances by players such as Eberechi Eze, William Saliba, and Gabi Martinelli.
Subsequent content will be themed around various Paramount+ shows, showcasing additional members of both the men’s and women’s first teams. This partnership not only signifies a strategic marketing move but also reflects the growing intersection of sports and entertainment, creating new avenues for fan engagement and brand synergy.
The collaboration is poised to enhance the experiences of Arsenal supporters while promoting Paramount+’s diverse range of programming, illustrating how sports organizations can leverage partnerships to expand their reach and impact.
