Fatal Collision in Lancaster County Claims Two Lives

UPDATE: Two people tragically lost their lives in a devastating head-on collision Friday night in West Lampeter Township, Lancaster County. The Lancaster County Coroner’s Office has confirmed the identities of the victims as Luke Debruin, 25, and Terry Thomas, 64.

Emergency services were dispatched to the scene at approximately 9:40 p.m., responding to reports of a collision between a Honda Civic and a Nissan sedan at the intersection of Lampeter Road and Paramount Avenue. Both Debruin and Thomas were pronounced dead at the scene, according to the coroner’s office.

Debruin was driving the Honda Civic, while Thomas was a passenger in the Nissan. Two additional passengers in the Nissan—a male and female—sustained severe injuries and were transported to a nearby hospital in critical condition.

The precise circumstances leading to this tragic incident remain unclear as officials continue their investigation. The coroner’s report has yet to disclose the causes of death for either victim.
