High School Sports Scores: Orlando Area Teams Shine on Nov. 29
URGENT UPDATE: High school sports in the Orlando area delivered thrilling action on Saturday, November 29, 2023, with standout performances and nail-biting finishes across various tournaments. Fans eager for the latest scores and results will not be disappointed as teams battle for supremacy on the court.
At the CENTRAL FLORIDA VS. SOUTH FLORIDA CLASSIC held at Edgewater High School, the competition was fierce. In the boys’ basketball matches, Norland secured a decisive victory over Jones with a score of 57-43, while Oak Ridge dominated Martin County with a score of 80-49. Not to be outdone, Edgewater triumphed over Coral Springs, finishing at 62-44.
The excitement continued with additional results showing Stranahan edging out Evans at 60-54 on Monday, and Bartow narrowly defeating Stranahan on Tuesday, with a score of 70-65. The standings are heating up as teams prepare for upcoming challenges.
In the SUN BASH ORLANDO tournament at Central Florida Christian Academy, Lake Howell faced South Lake, emerging victorious with a score of 63-53. Meanwhile, Eustis defeated Evangelical Christian 64-54, and Sarasota took down Winthrop Charter 74-60. The competition proved intense with several close games, including Olympia narrowly defeating Providence from Jacksonville 62-61.
The EARL GRAHAM MEMORIAL METRO VS. FLORIDA CHALLENGE at Lake Highland Prep also showcased exciting matchups. Horizon outperformed Orangewood Christian 69-61, while Lake Nona crushed Lake Wales 71-39. Notably, Viera defeated Innovation 73-40, and Lake Highland Prep took down Oak Ridge 68-57.
Meanwhile, in girls’ basketball, the SILVERHAWK CLASSIC at Lake Howell High School saw Seminole achieve remarkable wins, including a significant victory over Lake Brantley 61-57 and a dominant performance against St. Cloud 60-10.
