Ticket sales commence on Wednesday for three newly announced shows at the F.M. Kirby Center for the Performing Arts in Wilkes-Barre. The lineup includes a performance by the celebrated group Celtic Woman, along with stand-up shows by comedians Daniel Tosh and Brad Williams.

The Celtic Woman concert is part of their “A New Era Tour” and is scheduled for March 8, 2024, at 19:00. Tickets for this enchanting evening start at $40, plus fees. The ensemble, featuring four Irish musicians, will perform alongside dancers and a variety of instruments, including the bagpipe, bodhran, whistles, and Uilleann pipes. Since their debut in 2004, the group has amassed nearly one million monthly listeners on Spotify and achieved over 900 million streams in the U.S.

Following this, Daniel Tosh will take the stage on June 21, 2024, at 19:00 as part of his “My First Farewell Tour.” Tickets for Tosh’s performance begin at $45, plus applicable fees. Known for his work on Comedy Central, including the show “Tosh.0,” Tosh has entertained audiences with his unique commentary on internet video clips. He has also transitioned to a video podcast format with “The Tosh Show.”

Stand-up comedian Brad Williams is set to perform his “The Tall Tales Tour” on September 17, 2024, at 19:00. Tickets for his show start at $29.50, plus fees. Williams, recognized for his comedy specials on platforms such as Showtime and Netflix, made history as the first stand-up comedian to headline a Cirque du Soleil show. In addition to his stand-up career, he has appeared in various television shows and films.

Sales for all three events will open to Kirby Center members on Wednesday at 10:00, with general public sales starting on Friday at the same time. Tickets can be purchased through Ticketmaster, at kirbycenter.org, or at the box office located at 71 Public Square. The box office operates Monday through Friday, from 10:00 to 17:00.

These performances promise to offer a vibrant mix of music and comedy, appealing to a wide range of audiences in the Wilkes-Barre area. As fans eagerly anticipate these shows, the Kirby Center continues to be a vital hub for cultural events in the region.
