Community Participation and Donations
The Turkey Trot is free to enter; however, participants are encouraged to contribute to the community by donating non-perishable food items. These donations will benefit local food banks serving the North Shore area, helping to support families in need during the holiday season. This initiative aligns with the event’s long-standing tradition of promoting community spirit and generosity.
The event is expected to attract a large number of participants, making it a festive occasion for families and runners alike. For further information, interested participants can reach out to race director Steve Zimmermann at 917-957-7487 or via email at [email protected].
Join in the celebration of community and fitness this Thanksgiving by participating in the 76th Lou Marli Turkey Trot at Midland Beach. Whether you’re running for fun, fitness, or a good cause, this event promises to be a memorable way to kick off the holiday season.
