ITV Studios Appoints Moira Hogan as APAC Sales Head, Replacing Dulgaro
ITV Studios has announced a significant change in its international distribution team with the appointment of Moira Hogan as Executive Vice President of APAC Sales and Distribution. This move comes as Augustus Dulgaro, who has held the position for over two decades, prepares to leave the company at the end of March 2026.
Hogan joins ITV Studios from her previous role as the Executive Vice President of International Markets and General Manager for BritBox Australia, where she oversaw operations before departing in October 2023. Her departure followed a restructuring process at the streamer’s parent company, BBC Studios. Notably, BritBox International transitioned from a joint venture between BBC Studios and ITV Studios to a wholly owned subsidiary of BBC Studios after a significant acquisition valued at £255 million ($334.5 million) last year.
In her new role, which begins in February 2026, Hogan will lead sales teams based in both Sydney and Singapore. She will focus on promoting and distributing popular formats and finished shows, including hits like Love Island, Good Cop Bad Cop, and Shark! Celebrity Infested Waters. Hogan will report directly to Tom Clark, Executive Vice President of Global Sales and Commercial Strategy.
Tom Clark praised Hogan as a “champion of British content,” highlighting her extensive experience and leadership qualities as essential assets for guiding the dynamic sales team. He also expressed gratitude for Dulgaro’s contributions, stating, “Augustus has been an exceptional leader and world-class ambassador for ITV and Global Partnerships in the region over his 20-year tenure. He leaves this business in terrific shape.”
Dulgaro’s decision to exit follows a long and impactful career at ITV Studios, where he has been instrumental in building strong relationships and fostering the growth of the company’s presence in the Asia-Pacific region. In a statement, Hogan acknowledged the solid foundation established by Dulgaro, noting, “The ITVS APAC business is in great shape thanks to the care and commitment of Augustus who championed the content and built deep, trusted relationships.” She expressed her commitment to continuing that legacy as she steps into her new role.
As ITV Studios embarks on this transition, the company aims to strengthen its foothold in the APAC market. Hogan’s appointment reflects ITV’s strategy of leveraging experienced leadership to navigate the complexities of international sales and distribution in the ever-evolving media landscape.
