This extreme winter weather hit Fresno County, California, with reports confirming three feet of snow accumulation at the base area. General Manager Troy Cohee describes the change as nothing short of miraculous, stating, “We went from dry ground to having a well solid base pretty much all over the mountain.”

The fresh snowfall was recorded just before Christmas, with video footage from December 24, 2023, showcasing the resort’s stunning transformation. Cohee emphasized the significance of early snowstorms, calling it a welcome Christmas gift for ski enthusiasts. “It’s fantastic to see the mountain go from zero to hero in about 48 hours,” he added.
