UPDATE: Tensions escalate as a White House official harshly criticizes Jen Psaki following her controversial comments about Usha Vance, the Second Lady and wife of Vice President JD Vance. The backlash comes after Psaki, during an episode of the “I’ve Had It” podcast released on October 24, 2023, made mocking remarks that have ignited a firestorm on social media.

In her comments, Psaki questioned Vance’s well-being, suggesting, “are you OK? Please blink four times. Come over here, we’ll save you.” This prompted a swift response from Steven Cheung, the White House Director of Communications, who took to X to label Psaki a “dumbass” and “moron,” arguing that she is projecting her personal issues onto others.

“Psaki must be transferring her own personal issues onto others,” Cheung stated, sharing a clip of her comments. He further criticized her by saying she has “no comprehension of the truth” and “has to overcompensate for her lack of talent by saying untrue things.” In a pointed jab at Psaki’s time as press secretary, he added, “Circle back on that, moron.”

During the podcast, Psaki also expressed concerns over JD Vance, claiming he is “scarier in certain ways” than former President Donald Trump. She described him as a “little Manchurian candidate” who is “willing to do anything to get there,” while labeling him as “a chameleon” who adapts to please his audience. Furthermore, Psaki remarked that he lacks the charisma, or “rizz,” to lead effectively, calling him “a little odd.”

This incident marks a significant clash between the Biden administration and a former official, highlighting the ongoing tensions in U.S. politics. As the story develops, analysts suggest this could have implications for the public perception of both Psaki and the current administration.
