Voters Urged to Use Drop Boxes Ahead of November Election
The deadline for mailing ballots for the upcoming November 4 election in Boulder County has passed as of Monday. Voters who have not yet mailed their ballots are encouraged to vote in person at any Voter Service and Polling Center or to utilize one of the county’s 24-hour drop boxes to ensure their votes are counted.
For residents in Erie, Lafayette, Louisville, and Superior, several drop box locations are available. A full list of these locations can be found on the county’s election website, providing voters with easy access to secure their ballots.
Key Voting Locations in Boulder County
In Lafayette, the Voter Service and Polling Center is located at the Southeast County Services Hub, situated at 1755 S. Public Road. Voters can also drop off their ballots at the 24-hour drop box at the Lafayette Public Library located at 775 W. Baseline Road.
For those in Louisville, a 24-hour drop box can be found at the Louisville Recreation Center, located at 900 W. Via Appia Way.
Residents of Erie can access the drop box at Meadowlark School, positioned at 2300 Meadow Sweet Lane, specifically in the staff and bus parking lot off Front Range Road at Laramie Lane on the south side of the building.
In Superior, voters can drop off their ballots at the Superior Town Hall, which is located at 124 E. Coal Creek Drive.
Assistance for Voters
Voters are reminded that registration is still open at any Voter Service and Polling Center. Staff at these locations can assist with issuing replacement ballots, providing help to voters with disabilities, and offering services in Spanish.
To vote in person, residents must present a current photo ID, such as a Colorado driver’s license. This requirement underscores the importance of being prepared when heading to the polls, ensuring that all eligible voters can participate in the election process.
As the election date approaches, Boulder County officials emphasize the importance of voting and encourage residents to utilize available resources to make their voting experience as smooth as possible.
