Jill Marie Lockwood, Beloved Nurse and Mother, Passes Away at 63

UPDATE: Jill Marie Lockwood, a cherished nurse and mother, has passed away peacefully at home on October 21, 2025, surrounded by her family after a courageous battle with cancer. She was just 63 years old.

Born and raised in Duluth, MN, Jill was known for her compassion, humor, and unwavering strength. She dedicated her career to caring for others as a nurse at Liberalis, a women’s treatment facility, where her empathy and dedication left a profound impact on countless lives.

Jill was not only a devoted caregiver but also a beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. She is survived by her children, Troy Lockwood (Leah), Brent Lockwood, and Amie Lockwood; her grandchildren, Clyde, Nathan, Niko, and Noah, who brought immense joy to her life; and her sister Sue Raycraft (Tim), alongside her nieces and nephew.

The family announced a celebration of life to honor Jill’s memory on November 16, 2025, at Grand View Grill and Bar, located at 2820 Midway Rd, Duluth, MN 55810. The gathering will take place from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM, coinciding with what would have been her birthday.
