North Las Vegas Launches Exciting Fall Events Ahead of Halloween
UPDATE: North Las Vegas is gearing up for a vibrant autumn with a lineup of festive events that kick off this week, offering fun for all ages! Residents and visitors alike can dive into the seasonal spirit with attractions like the whimsical Viva Pumpkin Patch and the thrilling Spooky Splash.
Starting now, families can visit the Viva Pumpkin Patch at Craig Ranch Regional Park, located at 628 W. Craig Rd.. The patch is open from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Wednesdays through Fridays and noon to 9 p.m. on weekends, leading up to Halloween night. This enchanting experience promises an array of pumpkins and seasonal activities tailored for children and families.
Mark your calendars for October 24: the Spooky Splash event will transform the Silver Mesa Pool at 4095 Allen Ln. into a Halloween-themed aquatic adventure from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Swimmers can enjoy spooky activities and festive fun in the water.
On October 24, the community will also host the Harvest Fest featuring Trunk or Treat at the Neighborhood Recreation Center, 1638 N. Bruce St.. This family-friendly gathering runs from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and offers a safe space for children to collect candy and engage in festive fall activities. Pet owners can join the Paws in the Park celebration for furry friends from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Aliante Nature Discovery Park, 2627 Nature Park Dr.
For those looking to unleash their creativity, the City Hall Library at 2250 Las Vegas Blvd. N will host a Kids Crafting Corner on October 27. This event runs from 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. and invites children to craft spooky coffins and clay monsters. Additionally, on October 30, the library will celebrate the Day of the Dead with a Sugar Skulls crafting event from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m., providing a cultural touchpoint for participants.
The series of festivities culminates on Halloween night, October 31, with a spectacular Trunk or Treat Halloween Carnival back at Craig Ranch Regional Park. This event runs from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m., promising a thrilling close to the autumn celebrations.
