Raiders Fall to NDSCS in High-Scoring Clash, 102-88
BREAKING: In a thrilling encounter, the Central Lakes College Raiders suffered a 102-88 defeat against the North Dakota State College of Science (NDSCS) on Saturday, November 29. Korde Roseman emerged as a standout performer for the Raiders, scoring 21 points and grabbing five rebounds.
The Raiders showcased depth, with a remarkable 51 points coming from their bench. Max Wilson contributed 15 points, while Delbert Hardin and Eli Tautges added 12 and 11 points, respectively. Anthony Giadyu also played a pivotal role, leading the team with six assists alongside his four points.
NDSCS dominated the game, including impressive performances from John Angau, who scored 19 points, and Luke Christensen, who added 24 points. The overall shooting statistics were revealing, with NDSCS hitting 42.3% of their field goals and 78.6% from the free-throw line.
The Raiders managed to shoot 46.9% from the field, and their three-point shooting was notably effective at 42.1%. However, it was not enough to overcome NDSCS’s offensive onslaught.
The game unfolded with the first half ending at 58-36 in favor of NDSCS, with the Raiders rallying in the second half but ultimately falling short.
This loss brings Central Lakes College’s record to 2-4 for the season. The Raiders will seek to rebound as they prepare to host Minnesota State Community and Technical College on Tuesday, December 2 at 7:30 p.m..
