Serial Slasher Strikes Again: Three Attacks in 24 Hours in Brooklyn
URGENT UPDATE: A serial slasher is on the loose in Brooklyn after carrying out three unprovoked attacks in just 24 hours, leaving police scrambling for leads. Authorities confirm the suspect attacked a **37-year-old man** on a **Q train** at approximately **6:30 a.m.** Saturday, slashing his face as the train approached **Church Ave.** The victim reported the assault to police after exiting the train.
In a shocking escalation, the assailant struck two more victims later that day. At around **9:40 p.m.**, he attacked a **53-year-old man** near **Foster and New York Avenues**, approximately **1.5 miles** from the first incident. Just hours later, at **6:55 a.m.** Sunday, he targeted a **56-year-old man** near **Newkirk Ave. and New York Avenues**, again slashing the left side of the victim’s face.
All three victims were transported to **Kings County Hospital**, where they remain in stable condition, according to the NYPD.
Police have released surveillance images of the suspect, described as wearing a **navy blue jacket**, **black shorts**, and **white sneakers**. Investigators are canvassing the Flatbush area, urging anyone with information to contact **Crime Stoppers** at **(800) 577-TIPS**. Calls will be kept confidential.
These brutal assaults come on the heels of another alarming subway incident. On **October 16**, a man named **Justice Jackson**, 30, was arrested after allegedly stabbing a **51-year-old man** on a **D train** during a dispute. Jackson, who has a history of criminal behavior, is currently incarcerated on **Rikers Island**.
As police intensify their search for the serial slasher, residents are urged to remain vigilant and report any suspicious activity. The community is on high alert as the NYPD works to prevent further violence. Stay tuned for further updates as this story develops.
