Trump Demands Massie Be Ousted; Endorses Gallrein for Congress
BREAKING: President Donald Trump has escalated his feud with Republican lawmakers, calling for the ousting of Rep. Thomas Massie (R-KY) in a fiery post on Truth Social. In an urgent message shared just moments ago, Trump labeled Massie as “weak and pathetic,” urging his supporters to remove him from office immediately.
Trump’s comments come after a direct attack on Sen. Rand Paul (R-KY), further signaling a rift within the party. “Third Rate Congressman Thomas Massie, a Weak and Pathetic RINO from the Great Commonwealth of Kentucky… must be thrown out of office, ASAP!” Trump wrote, highlighting his dissatisfaction with Massie’s performance. He claimed that Massie is currently polling at just 9%, stating, “The Great People of Kentucky are wise to him.”
The former president indicated his support for Captain Ed Gallrein, a Navy SEAL and Army Ranger, as a potential challenger to Massie. Trump emphasized Gallrein’s credentials, declaring, “CAPTAIN ED GALLREIN IS A WINNER WHO WILL NOT LET YOU DOWN.” He urged Gallrein to run for office, offering him “Complete and Total Endorsement.”
In a parallel development, Trump recently announced on his platform that he had commuted the sentence of former New York congressman and convicted fraudster George Santos. He justified the decision by comparing Santos’s case to that of Democrat Senator Richard Blumenthal, arguing that many “rogues” in the country are not serving lengthy prison sentences.
Additionally, Trump’s criticisms extend to Sen. Rand Paul, whom he chastised for his lack of support for the Republican Party. “Whatever happened to ‘Senator’ Rand Paul?” Trump questioned, highlighting the growing tensions within GOP ranks.
This internal conflict comes at a critical time as a potential government shutdown threatens essential services, including school lunches for food-insecure families. Analysts warn that halted federal funding could jeopardize these vital resources.
As tensions rise within the Republican Party, all eyes will be on Kentucky’s political landscape. The question now is whether Gallrein will heed Trump’s call and challenge Massie, potentially reshaping the GOP dynamic heading into the upcoming elections.
