Eddington Firefighters Extinguish Vehicle Blaze Before House Damage

Eddington firefighters, alongside Holden police, effectively extinguished a vehicle fire on Scott Point Road in Clifton at 7:39 a.m. on Saturday. The emergency response team arrived to find a vehicle completely engulfed in flames, posing significant risks to a nearby house and propane tanks located just five feet away.

Upon their arrival, firefighters initiated rapid action to suppress the blaze, successfully preventing it from spreading further. According to a statement from the fire department, they managed to limit damage to the exterior of the home, ensuring the safety of the residents nearby. Unfortunately, the vehicle itself was declared a total loss.

Fortunately, no injuries were reported during the incident. The cause of the fire is currently under investigation, with authorities working to determine the circumstances that led to the vehicle igniting.
