William Joseph Keith, a beloved figure known for his passion for bowling and dedication to family, passed away peacefully on November 23, 2025, at the age of 88. His death resulted from complications related to congestive heart failure and pneumonia. Keith’s life story reflects his deep roots in family values and a commitment to community.

Born on January 24, 1937, in McAlester, Oklahoma, Keith relocated with his family to California at the age of 12. This move marked the beginning of a journey that would see him become a cherished member of his community. After serving in the Army for two years, he married Mary Ann Keith, nee Wallace, on July 27, 1963. Their marriage lasted 46 years until her passing in 2009.

Keith and Mary Ann raised two children: their son, Kirk, born in 1965, and their daughter, Krista, born in 1971. The family bond was a central aspect of Keith’s life, and he took great pride in his role as a father and later as a grandfather. He is survived by his children, three grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren.

For over 30 years, Keith worked for G&G Amusement and CA Robinson, contributing significantly to both companies. Following retirement, he found joy working at Angel Stadium for a decade, where he continued to connect with the community he loved.

An avid bowler, Keith was a familiar face at local bowling alleys, participating in the sport three times a week even at an advanced age. His enthusiasm for bowling was not just a pastime; it was a testament to his vibrant spirit and love for competition.

Keith’s legacy will be honored through memories shared by family and friends, as well as through a living memorial that reflects his zest for life. Those wishing to pay tribute to him can consider planting a living memorial in his name.

As the community mourns the loss of William Joseph Keith, his impact on family and friends will be remembered fondly, celebrating a life well-lived and dedicated to the joys of family and sport.
