Jerome F. Bartel, 91, Remembered by Family and Friends

Jerome F. Bartel, a resident of Inver Grove Heights, passed away on December 31, 2025, at the age of 91. He is survived by his devoted wife of 68 years, Judith “Judy” Bartel, as well as their children, Susan (Edward) Carroll and David Bartel. His family also includes grandson Paxton Carroll and brother-in-law Ted (Mary Ann) Horner, along with numerous other relatives and friends who will cherish his memory.

A memorial service will be held at 11 AM on January 10, 2026, at Klecatsky & Sons West Chapel, located at 1051 South Robert Street in West St. Paul. Attendees are invited to gather two hours prior to the service. Following the ceremony, a private entombment will take place at Riverview Cemetery in St. Paul.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to the Union Gospel Mission in St. Paul, an organization dedicated to serving those in need within the community. The family extends their heartfelt thanks to the staff at Inver Glen Senior Living and St. Croix Hospice for their compassionate care during this time.

Jerome Bartel will be remembered not only for his family ties but also for the impact he had on those around him. His legacy will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.
