His extensive experience and proven success position him well to lead the Panthers into a new era of competitive football.

Vision for the Future

In a statement regarding Coach Sims’ appointment, Dr. Jerel Drew, Athletic Director of Clark Atlanta University, expressed enthusiasm for the new chapter in the football program. “We are thrilled to welcome Coach Terry Sims to our university. Background and Experience

Before his tenure at Bethune-Cookman, Sims honed his coaching skills in various roles that contributed to his strategic leadership abilities. This educational background complements his extensive coaching experience and enhances his approach to team management and player development.

Clark Atlanta University, established through the merger of Atlanta University and Clark College in 1988, is a private institution with a rich history as a historically Black university.
