Randolph Dominates Morris Knolls to Secure N1, Group B Title

No. 16 Randolph has clinched the North 1, Group B championship for the second consecutive year after a decisive victory over second-seeded Morris Knolls, winning the final by a score of 105-65. The championship event took place at Passaic County Technical Institute in Wayne on February 17, 2024.

Randolph, the top seed in the tournament, showcased its dominance by winning eight out of eleven events. This victory marks Randolph’s second win over Morris Knolls this season, with their first encounter resulting in a win on December 18, 2023. Key contributions came from senior Sydney Wright and sophomore Julianna Young, each securing two individual event titles. Wright triumphed in both the 100-yard and 200-yard freestyle, while Young excelled in the 100-yard butterfly and 100-yard backstroke.

Additional event wins for Randolph included performances by Ashley McDonnell, Reese Nelson, and Alivia Wright. The team also claimed victories in the 200-yard and 400-yard freestyle relays, further solidifying their standing as a formidable force in the competition.
