Mapa Broker Unveils New App and Partnership at Harvard Congress
Mapa Broker participated in the World Leaders Congress at Harvard University on October 9-10, 2025, where co-founder Erika Rodríguez presented a transformative vision for the automotive industry. Her talk, titled “The Business of Second Chances: Car Auctions,” explored the parallels between car auctions and the opportunities for personal reinvention.
During her presentation, Rodríguez emphasized how Mapa Broker has empowered thousands of Latinos in the United States to engage with the car auction market. “Just as cars have a second chance at auctions, people also have the power and the right to reinvent ourselves,” she stated, capturing the attention of an international audience of business leaders and entrepreneurs.
Strategic Partnership with Copart
A highlight of the event was the announcement that Mapa Broker has formed a groundbreaking partnership with Copart, the largest car auction company in the United States. This collaboration marks Mapa Broker as Copart’s first Latin partner, focusing on the development of the Mapa App. The app aims to enhance accessibility for the Hispanic community, providing them with tools to navigate the car auction process.
Rodríguez and her team unveiled a visual prototype of the app through an interactive landing page, showcasing its functionality and design. The initial version, set to launch in December 2025, will feature AI-driven capabilities that deliver real-time, Spanish-language information on vehicles available on Copart. Additionally, Mapa representatives will offer personalized guidance, ensuring that anyone can participate in auctions without needing a dealer’s license.
Future Enhancements and Community Impact
The second version of the Mapa App, scheduled for release in May 2026, will introduce advanced features such as a cost calculator, a digital wallet, and the ability to place bids directly through the app. These enhancements aim to provide users with a comprehensive and accessible auction experience.
Rodríguez views this initiative as part of Mapa Broker’s broader mission to democratize the car auction industry, thereby creating more opportunities for the Latino community. “Reaching the prestigious Harvard University with a project that was built from scratch—with dedication, purpose, and community—is living proof that dreams can’t be bought: they are built with effort, consistency, and faith,” she remarked.
Mapa Broker’s participation at Harvard highlights the company’s commitment to innovation, education, and digital inclusion within the automotive sector. The collaboration with Copart, combined with the launch of the Mapa App, positions Mapa Broker as a pivotal player in fostering growth and opportunity for Latino individuals in the United States.
