Megan Thee Stallion Speaks Out Against Alleged Online Attacks
Megan Thee Stallion has taken a stand against what she describes as a coordinated online attack targeting her reputation. During a recent livestream, the Houston-based artist expressed her frustration over a surge of negative comments directed at her, which she believes are fueled by bots and paid individuals.
In the livestream captured by Live Bitez, she stated, “When I do peep online and see what y’all doing, I feel like y’all get so easily riled up and easily discouraged when y’all know people get paid to talk crazy about me.” Megan highlighted what she perceives as an abnormal amount of negativity aimed at her, questioning the authenticity of these detractors.
She elaborated on her claims, asserting, “These are bots, these are paid people.” Megan pointed out that some of the accounts spreading hate seem unusual. “If you scroll through some of these people’s tweets, it be a man that’s been tweeting about sports for eight years. Now all of a sudden, he just hate Megan Thee Stallion,” she remarked.
In her passionate address, Megan urged her fans to disregard these negative messages and remain focused on their support. “Stop listening to them. B*tch, they time up,” she said, emphasizing the need for her supporters to recognize that not all criticism is genuine.
Megan also reflected on the nature of the hate she receives, questioning, “What is there even to hate on? I don’t be doing that.” She described her lifestyle, which includes spending time at home with her boyfriend, Klay Thompson, and enjoying hobbies like watching anime and working in the studio.
As she encouraged her fans to stay positive, she added, “When I give y’all something to cry about, cry about it, alright? Then we can start crying.” Her message was clear: she wants her supporters to engage meaningfully rather than react to unfounded criticism.
Megan concluded her livestream by promoting her latest single, “Lover Girl,” which she described as sensual and inspired by her relationship with Thompson. The song features lyrics expressing affection for her partner, highlighting a personal side of the artist amid the public scrutiny.
In a climate where online interactions can quickly escalate, Megan Thee Stallion’s call for awareness and resilience resonates with many who face similar challenges in the digital age. Her ability to address these issues while promoting her music reflects a balance between personal integrity and professional ambition.
