Mohawk Valley Community College Honors 2026 Alumni Award Winners

On January 13, 2026, the Mohawk Valley Community College Foundation celebrated the achievements of its alumni during a ceremony honoring the recipients of three prestigious awards: the 2026 Alumni of Merit Award, the Distinguished Alumni Award, and the Young Alumni Award. This annual event recognizes former students who have significantly contributed to their communities and the college.

Nicholas Mayhew, a graduate of the class of 1981, received the 2026 Alumni of Merit Award. The Distinguished Alumni Award was awarded to Tressa LaBella, a four-time graduate of MVCC. Nazaria D. DeLoach, the owner and operator of Dreamer Studios, was honored with the 2026 Young Alumni Award. This award recognizes alumni who have graduated within the past ten years, demonstrating exceptional leadership early in their careers and in their communities.
