Local government meetings are set to take place in various locations across Clatsop County, Oregon, on January 27 and February 2026. These gatherings provide opportunities for community members to engage with their elected officials and discuss important local issues.

Meetings on January 27, 2026

The day begins with a special meeting of the Sunset Empire Transportation District Board at noon, held at the Astoria Transit Center, located at 900 Marine Drive. This meeting will address transportation planning and services in the region.

At 5:30 p.m., the Astoria Traffic Safety Advisory Committee will convene at Astoria City Hall, situated at 1095 Duane St. Following this session, the Astoria Planning Commission will meet, also at Astoria City Hall, to discuss ongoing development projects.

The Warrenton City Commission will hold its meeting at 6 p.m. at Warrenton City Hall, located at 225 S. Main Ave. These meetings aim to address community concerns and plan for upcoming initiatives.

Meetings Scheduled for Early February

The following day, January 28, the Warrenton-Hammond School District Board will meet at 6 p.m. in the Warrenton High School Library, located at 1700 S. Main Ave. This meeting will focus on educational policies and school district updates.

On February 2, the Astoria City Council will gather at 6 p.m. at Astoria City Hall to discuss city governance and community programs.

The following day, February 3, community members can participate in “Coffee with the Mayor” from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. at the Seaside Coffee House, located at 5 N. Holladay Drive. This informal setting allows residents to voice their concerns directly to the Mayor.

Later that day, the Astoria Library Board will convene at 5:30 p.m. in the Library Flag Room, located at 450 Tenth St. The Port of Astoria Commission is also scheduled to meet at 4:00 p.m. at their offices, located at 422 Gateway Ave, Suite 100.

Finally, on February 4, the Clatsop County Board of Commissioners will hold a work session at 10:30 a.m., with a Zoom link available on the Clatsop County website. The Gearhart City Council will also meet at 6 p.m. at Gearhart City Hall, located at 698 Pacific Way.

These public meetings serve as essential forums for local governance, allowing residents to stay informed and engaged with community decision-making.
