Ravens Set for Challenging 2026 Schedule with Key Matchups
The Baltimore Ravens will face a challenging schedule in the 2026 NFL season, following their recent finish as runners-up in the AFC North. The season got underway with a disappointing 8-9 record after a heart-wrenching loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers. This year marks the Ravens’ return to a second-place schedule for the first time since 2022, setting the stage for a series of competitive matchups.
As part of their 2026 slate, the Ravens will play six games against their divisional rivals: three at home and three away against the Steelers, Cleveland Browns, and Cincinnati Bengals. In addition to these crucial matchups, they will also face teams from the AFC South, NFC South, and the runners-up of the AFC East, AFC West, and NFC East.
Home and Away Matchups Highlighted
The Ravens will host the Jacksonville Jaguars, Tennessee Titans, New Orleans Saints, Tampa Bay Buccaneers, and Los Angeles Chargers at their home ground, M&T Bank Stadium. Meanwhile, their road schedule includes games against the Atlanta Falcons, Carolina Panthers, Indianapolis Colts, Houston Texans, Buffalo Bills, and Dallas Cowboys.
In a season marked by ups and downs, the Ravens struggled at home, achieving a 3-6 record, which is their first losing season in Baltimore since 2015. Under the guidance of head coach John Harbaugh, the team has typically excelled at home, with 102 victories since 2008, ranking third in the league during that span.
Looking forward, the Ravens will find some relief in facing teams that finished below .500 in the previous season. The Saints (6-11), Titans (3-14), and Buccaneers (8-9) struggled significantly, while the Jaguars (13-4) and Chargers (11-6) were top contenders in the AFC. The Ravens’ match against the Chargers could draw significant attention, particularly given the connection between the Harbaugh brothers.
Competitive Road Challenges Ahead
The road schedule features teams that also faced struggles, including the Falcons (7-10), Panthers (8-9), and Colts (8-9). However, the Texans (12-5) and Bills (12-5) are anticipated to remain strong contenders, and the Cowboys (7-9-1), with their storied franchise history, will likely create an exciting atmosphere.
Due to flexible scheduling in Weeks 16, 17, and 18, the Ravens ended the 2025 season with seven prime-time games, finishing with a 2-5 record in those matches. Despite the setbacks, expectations remain high for the Ravens to command the spotlight in the upcoming 2026 season. The full schedule will be revealed in May, promising a season filled with potential and high stakes for the team and its loyal supporters.
