In a recent interview with ScreenRant’s Ash Crossan at the PGA’s red carpet, Roven confirmed, “I’ve got two movies that I’m in post-production on, so those are my bright lights at the moment,” referring to both Thomas Crown Affair and the sequel Road House 2. Jordan, who is not only the star but also the director of the film, initially pitched the project to Amazon MGM Studios, leading to his official announcement as director in 2024.
