New After-School Art Program Launches January 29 for Kids
URGENT UPDATE: Starting January 29, a new after-school art program, Art Lab Thursdays, is set to launch in Fort Worth, providing a vital creative outlet for children aged 6–12. This innovative program is designed to foster artistic exploration and build confidence among young creators.
Parents seeking enriching after-school activities can register their children for Art Lab Thursdays, which runs every Thursday from 4:00 to 5:30 PM. This drop-off program allows kids to immerse themselves in various art activities, including painting, clay sculpting, drawing, and more—all in a supportive and encouraging environment.
Each session kicks off with a brief guided introduction, setting the stage for open studio time where children can express themselves freely. The program emphasizes creativity over competition and joy through making, making it an ideal space for budding artists to thrive.
Led by Panther City Artists, a nonprofit organization dedicated to inclusive, process-based art education, this program aims to make art accessible to all children.
Parents can choose between two registration options: a $25 drop-in fee per session or a $95 monthly membership covering four Thursdays. This flexibility ensures that families can easily participate according to their schedules.
Art Lab Thursdays is not just about making art; it’s about nurturing creativity and confidence in young minds. As children engage with different materials, they learn not only artistic skills but also important life lessons about self-expression and collaboration.
This program is an exciting addition to Fort Worth’s community offerings, and it promises to have a lasting impact on the lives of participating children. Don’t miss out on this opportunity for your child to explore their artistic potential!
Register now at www.panthercityartists.org and secure your child’s spot in this enriching after-school program. Spaces are limited, so act fast to ensure they don’t miss out on this unique experience!
