The game saw Parkland’s leading scorer, Blake Nassry, struggle initially, finishing the first half 0-for-7 and scoreless. However, a dynamic second quarter from seniors Tyler Beck, Jude Ruisch, and Ryan Kearney turned the tide, propelling Parkland to a 27-25 lead at halftime. Beck emerged as a standout player, scoring a career-high 19 points, including a pivotal three-pointer that expanded the Trojans’ lead to 37-25 in the third quarter.

“Once we get the lead, I feel we can control the game,” Ruisch stated, contributing 16 points with four 3-pointers and perfect free-throw shooting in the fourth quarter. Central Catholic, despite taking an early lead, struggled in the decisive third quarter, shooting just 4-for-15 from the field.
