Baltimore’s Weekend Offers Festivities from Music to Vintage Finds
Baltimore is set to host an array of vibrant events this weekend, from November 14 to 16, 2025. As exams occupy many students, the city presents a perfect opportunity to unwind with a selection of engaging activities. The weekend’s highlights include the Diffusion Festival, live music at the Dam Jam Festival, local art at the Holiday Makers’ Market, and vintage treasures at the Baltimore Vintage Expo. The festivities culminate with a unique performance by the Astronaut Symphony.
Music and Community Festivals
The weekend kicks off on Friday at 8 p.m. with the Diffusion Festival, located at 9 W. 25th St.. This two-day event celebrates electroacoustic music, featuring contemporary works presented by the Birmingham ElectroAcoustic Sound Theater. The intimate audio-only setting promises a distinctive auditory experience for attendees. Tickets are available for $16.65, including fees.
On Saturday, the Dam Jam Festival will take place from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at 1000 Lakeside Dr.. This community-focused event features live performances by local musicians, artisan vendors, and outdoor activities suitable for all ages. Admission is free, and pre-registration is encouraged for those wishing to join in the festivities.
Also on Saturday, the Holiday Makers’ Market will be held at the Evergreen Museum & Library from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.. This annual market showcases handmade jewelry, stationery, artwork, and more from local Baltimore artists. Visitors can enjoy free parking, access to the gardens, and admission to the Art Glass at Evergreen exhibition.
Vintage Treasures and Cosmic Sounds
Sunday will feature the highly anticipated Baltimore Vintage Expo at Union Collective, located at 1700 W. 41st St.. This one-day market runs from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and is a dream destination for collectors of vintage clothing, antiques, jewelry, and decor. Early bird shopping is available from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. for those eager to secure unique finds, followed by free general admission from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m..
The weekend concludes with a performance by the Astronaut Symphony at Keystone Korner Baltimore, located at 1350 Lancaster St.. Starting at 5 p.m., the show features pianist and composer Scott Patterson, who blends genres including funk, rock, and opera into a bass-driven cosmic experience. Inspired by musical legends such as Alice Coltrane, Sun Ra, and Earth, Wind & Fire, ticket prices range from $35 to $45.
This weekend’s events offer a diverse range of activities, ensuring that there is something for everyone in Baltimore. Whether attendees seek immersive musical experiences, local art, or vintage shopping, the city provides an inviting atmosphere to celebrate creativity and community.
