Genesis Wins Platinum Pinnacle Award for Community Impact in Sports
Genesis Motor America has been awarded the prestigious Platinum honor in the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) category at the 2025 Pinnacle Awards. This recognition highlights the brand’s commitment to enhancing youth sports access through its partnership with the U.S. Soccer Foundation.
Through its initiative, Genesis Gives, the company has collaborated with various nonprofit organizations to create opportunities for youth across the United States. The Pinnacle Awards specifically acknowledged Genesis’ innovative mini-pitch initiative, which has transformed underutilized spaces into modern soccer arenas. These facilities provide children with safe environments to engage in physical activity, build confidence, and develop essential life skills.
Since launching this partnership in 2024, Genesis and the U.S. Soccer Foundation have installed five Musco Mini-Pitch SystemsTM in states including Florida, New York, California, and Georgia. This effort is part of the Safe Places to Play program, which aims to establish a total of 1,000 mini-pitches nationwide by 2026. According to the U.S. Soccer Foundation’s mini-pitch study, nearly 70% of these mini-pitches are situated in areas with high population density and limited opportunities for children, impacting an average of 10,000 youth per site.
Brandon Ramirez, Director of Corporate Social Responsibility at Genesis Motor America, expressed pride in the award, stating, “At Genesis, we believe that meaningful change happens when brands and communities come together. Our partnership with U.S. Soccer Foundation has provided innovative play spaces and evidence-based soccer programs that foster well-being and help youth achieve their fullest potential.”
The Pinnacle Awards celebrate creative and strategic contributions to marketing, public relations, and social media, recognizing impactful initiatives that shape the future of these fields.
Genesis Gives serves as a cornerstone of the brand’s social responsibility efforts. Since its inception in 2022, Genesis has committed over $2 million to improve access to youth sports and STEAM education in underserved communities. This initiative aligns with Genesis’ overarching mission to deliver exceptional performance while fostering a sense of community.
Genesis Motor North America positions itself as a global automotive brand, blending high standards of design, safety, and innovation with a sustainable outlook. The company draws from its cultural heritage to create customer experiences that reflect the concept of “son-nim,” or honored guests. With a growing lineup of award-winning SUV, sedan, and electric models, Genesis operates over 200 independent retailers in the U.S. and more than 30 agency distributors in Canada.
