Denver Summit FC Unveils 2026 Season Schedule with Exciting Matches
Denver Summit FC has officially announced its schedule for the inaugural 2026 season, marking a significant milestone for the new soccer club. The first match is set for Saturday, March 14, 2026, against Bay FC at PayPal Park in San Jose, California. Following this opening match, Summit FC will face two more away games before returning to Denver for its highly anticipated home debut against the Washington Spirit on March 28 at Empower Field at Mile High.
In total, Summit FC will compete in 30 regular-season matches throughout the 2026 season, balancing home and away games. After the inaugural match at Empower Field, the club will host its next two home games at Dick’s Sporting Goods Park before moving to its new, temporary venue at Centennial Stadium for the remaining 12 home fixtures.
The matches will be broadcasted nationally across the NWSL’s media partners, including CBS, ABC, ESPN, and others. Fans can expect local coverage as well; all 21 matches not designated as nationally exclusive will air on Denver 7 and its sister station, Denver 3.
Key Matches and Venue Details
The schedule features a variety of key matchups, including several high-stakes games against established rivals. The first home match at Empower Field will take place at 12:00 p.m. on March 28, against the Washington Spirit, with coverage on CBS. Following this, the club will face the San Diego Wave FC at Dick’s Sporting Goods Park on April 4 at 6:45 p.m.
As the season progresses, fans can look forward to exciting matchups against teams such as Boston Legacy FC, Portland Thorns, and the North Carolina Courage. Notably, the final match of the season is scheduled for November 1 against North Carolina Courage at First Horizon Stadium.
