Giants’ Dexter Lawrence and Carl Banks Clash Over Performance Comments

Tensions have escalated between New York Giants defensive tackle Dexter Lawrence and team legend Carl Banks, following sharp criticisms exchanged through media channels. The dispute arose after the Giants suffered a disappointing 38-20 loss to the Philadelphia Eagles in Week 8 of the NFL season.

During a recent podcast, Banks, a two-time Super Bowl champion who played alongside legendary linebacker Lawrence Taylor, expressed his discontent with Lawrence’s performance. “Dexter Lawrence, nobody respects you anymore. Nobody,” Banks stated emphatically. He went on to suggest that Lawrence’s previous level of play is no longer present, insisting that “they’re on the field blocking you with a nine-year backup center.
