10-Year-Old Detained After 7-Year-Old Stabbed at School

URGENT UPDATE: A 10-year-old has been detained following a shocking incident where a 7-year-old student was stabbed during an after-school program at Bubb Elementary School in Mountain View, California. The alarming event unfolded around 3:30 p.m. today, prompting swift action from local authorities.

According to the Mountain View Police Department, emergency dispatchers received multiple reports of a stabbing occurring in the school’s play area. Officers quickly arrived on the scene, establishing a lockdown as they worked to secure the campus. They located the young victim, who suffered three stab wounds to the shoulder. Fortunately, personnel from the Mountain View Fire Department treated the child at the scene before releasing him to a parent.
