Community to Honor Scottie McCoy with Celebration of Life
Scottie Bernard McCoy, born on June 18, 1968, passed away on February 16, 2026, at Piedmont Healthcare in Macon. His unexpected death has left a profound impact on the community, prompting family and friends to come together to celebrate his life and legacy.
A memorial service will take place on Saturday, February 21, at 14:00, at the Springfield Missionary Baptist Church, located at 837 Hillsboro Street in Monticello. Following the service, he will be laid to rest at South View Cemetery, allowing loved ones to pay their final respects.
