UPDATE: The highly anticipated 10th Annual Frisco Freeze Fat Bike Race is set to take place on Saturday, February 14, at 3 p.m. at the Frisco Nordic Center. This thrilling event will be the only chance this season for riders to experience the picturesque Nordic trails on fat bikes.

Racers can choose between two challenging courses: a 9-mile loop that bypasses the toughest climbs, ideal for those seeking a slightly easier ride, and an exhilarating 12-mile course featuring a mix of steep climbs, fast descents, and varying terrain. The trails will be open for pre-riding from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m. on race day, providing an excellent opportunity for participants to familiarize themselves with the courses before the competition begins.

Participants can register for one of six categories: open men, open women, masters men 45+, masters women 45+, junior boys 17 and under, and junior girls 17 and under. Awards will be presented to the top three finishers in each category, adding an exciting competitive edge to the event.

Following the race, join the fun at the awards ceremony and post-race party at the Slopeside Hall Plaza, where racers can celebrate their achievements and connect with fellow biking enthusiasts.

Registration fees are $50 for adults and $40 for youth aged 17 and under, which includes a commemorative gift. Pre-registration will close at 12 p.m. on Friday, February 13, but day-of registration will be available from 12:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. at Slopeside Hall, conveniently located across from the Frisco Nordic Center lodge at 605 Recreation Way.
