The Shade Tree Appoints Ben Douglas as New CFO to Strengthen Finances
LAS VEGAS – The Shade Tree has announced the appointment of Ben Douglas as its new Chief Financial Officer (CFO). This decision was made public by Linda Perez, the organization’s CEO, who expressed confidence in Douglas’s extensive background in both the for-profit and nonprofit sectors.
With over 20 years of experience, Douglas has worked as a consultant specializing in finance, administration, board governance, and operations. His focus for the past decade has been on nonprofit organizations that support survivors of domestic violence, children, and older adults. In his new role at The Shade Tree, Douglas will oversee all accounting and finance operations.

It operates a 24-hour accessible emergency shelter designed to meet the needs of individuals escaping domestic violence, human trafficking, and homelessness.
