John attended White Point Elementary, Dana Middle School, and San Pedro High School, where he graduated with his future wife, Laureen Demaria, in the Class of 1969. Their relationship blossomed in their school years, leading to their marriage on October 2, 1971. They welcomed their daughter, Kimmy, in 1973, creating a family that would be central to John’s life.

Life took a significant turn when John and his family relocated to Bullhead City, Arizona, in 1984. This move fulfilled a dream for John, who always envisioned a life near the water. Bullhead City became not only his home but also the backdrop for his career and hobbies. John became a firefighter, eventually rising to the rank of Battalion Chief. His commitment to public service was matched by his entrepreneurial spirit when he opened Davidson Electric, further establishing his roots in the community.

John’s love for water activities was a defining aspect of his life. He enjoyed water skiing, jet skiing, and parasailing, but fishing held a special place in his heart. John and Laureen were known for their hospitality, hosting numerous gatherings, including the much-anticipated ‘Bullhead Easter Bunny Hop’ on the lake, which brought family and friends together for a day of celebration.

Grandfather to Dalton and Renn, John embraced his role as a loving family member, emphasizing the importance of connections and shared experiences.

John was one of the first employees, supporting the family business while honing his skills and work ethic.
